Everyone’s favourite foul-mouthed doll is slashing his way back to the big screen!
Franchise creator Don Mancini has officially confirmed he’s writing a brand-new Chucky movie designed specifically for the big screen. After the recent cancellation of the Chucky TV series, this news is the perfect pick-me-up for Chucky fans.
Mancini is reportedly aiming for a tonal shift, trading in some of the recent campy humour for the gritty, "intense horror" vibes found in the original films and Curse of Chucky. Don’t worry, though, it’s not a reboot. The story will stay firmly within the original canon, acting as a direct companion to the show’s wild ending.
Jennifer Tilly is already set to return as the iconic Tiffany Valentine, and while not officially confirmed, it’s hard to imagine anyone but Brad Dourif playing Chucky himself. Keep your eyes peeled for a potential 2027 release!
