Ha, the list was syndicated content so it wasn't written by ourselves. We didn't mind Battle Los Angeles but it certainly wouldn't have made our own personal list. Yours is a great selection. Still need to see XTRO. Mars Attacks eh? I haven't seen that for about 15 years. Maybe it's time to revisit it?

Mars Attacks is arguably Tim Burton's most unsung masterpiece. It's a cacophony of tonal shifts and styles that are unique to that film. It's not good in a traditional sense, but goddamn if it isn't one of the most entertaining dumpster fires you're ever likely to see.

Great list Michael. I'd have a few of those on mine - plus 'Signs' and 'Edge of Tomorrow'. Also, does 'Monsters vs Aliens' count? ;)

Bloody Disgusting have dropped their star rating (or skulls) system. It's something we've been discussing here at YGROY. How much do you value star ratings when you read a review? If you see that a film has a two and a half star rating for instance, are you less likely to read the review?
