Jeremiah Kipp passes away

Jeremiah Kipp, director of The Mortuary Assistant (2026) and Slapface (2021), has tragically passed away. Jeremiah was a prolific, talented and passionate film-maker, whose passing has left a hole in the indie horror community. Actor and frequent collaborator Lukas Hassel said: 'A devastating blow to everyone who knew him and to me personally. A massive loss, not just because of his prolific career as a filmmaker and writer, but simply because he was incredible human being. Warm, smart, empathetic, artistic, generous, funny, kind and so much more. Jeremiah was a no-nonsense kind of guy, but a guy with a heart full of love and compassion. I will forever miss this brave and wonderful soul.' Everyone at YGROY extends their love and support to Jeremiah's family and many friends during this difficult time.
